Bethlehem Eagles celebrate first state championship with a parade

One week ago, the Eagles won the Class AA baseball state title. The community came out Saturday afternoon to honor the team's historic accomplishment. The celebration kicked off with a parade of emergency vehicles with the team in tow, starting from the high school and ending at the Tri-Village Little League field. The Eagles began the postseason winning their first Section 2 title since 1998. They went on to knock out West Genesee, East Chester and Hauppauge to capture the first state title in any sport for Bethlehem.
