Jared Verse was named the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year at the NFL Honors in New Orleans Thursday night. The Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman racked up 66 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Verse, who played for UAlbany from 2019-2021 before transferring to Florida State, also added two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in his rookie season.
