You won’t see the typical running of the fans, when the gates open for the Belmont Stakes at the Saratoga Race Course.

NYRA announced Thursday that reserved tables in the picnic paddock will be sold exclusively through a random drawing for Belmont Stakes Day on Saturday, June 8.

Starting Monday, March 25, you will be able to enter the drawing to reserve one of about 100 picnic tables.

Winners will be notified after a drawing on Friday, April 5.

Atable for six guests will cost you $75 per person, or a total of $450 – which includes the cost of admission.

For the other three days of the festival, the 700 picnic tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

As was reported FIRST ON 13, the race was moved to Saratoga Race Course this year because Belmont Park is undergoing a major renovation.
