Schenectady Ring of Hope’s annual fundraiser honors world boxing legends while inspiring the next generation
Nearly 700 people came out to Saratoga Springs City Center to support the annual "Fight for Hope" fundraiser benefiting the Schenectady Ring of Hope Boxing Club.
Amateur boxers took to the ring to showcase their talents in front of distinguished company. As the guests of honor included legends of the boxing world, Larry Holmes, Gerry Cooney, and Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini. The Schenectady Ring of Hope Boxing Club was started in 2004, by retired coaching legend, Vince Kittle. The organization is seen as a beacon of hope for youth in the community.
