UAlbany grad Grace Claxton qualifies for World Championships

UAlbany grad Grace Claxton has qualified to run the 400 meter hurdles in the upcoming World Championships later this month in Eugene, Oregon. Claxton, who competed for Puerto Rico in the 2016 Olympics in Rio, ran a personal best time of 55.25 to get in under the 55.40 qualifying time. Claxton has been training in St. Kitt’s and has run several personal bests already this season and says she’s feeling as good as ever heading into the meet.
