1853 documents highlighting women’s suffrage now for sale in Berkshire County

Documents from the Women’s Suffrage Movement are up for sale in Berkshire County.
Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton are two of the most well-known names when it comes to women’s rights. Anthony was born in Adams, and Stanton was born in Johnstown.
The documents show the friendship the two women had. Both of their signatures appear on certificates from 1853 for membership to the Women’s New York Temperance Society.
They are currently on sale for $15,000.
