Albany businesses are getting ready for a busy weekend.

Around 16,000 people are expected to flock to downtown Albany for Blake Shelton’s concert at MVP Arena on Saturday.

One of the many businesses looking forward to this weekend is Albany Stadium Restaurant and Bar, inside MVP Arena.
One of the owners told NewsChannel 13 they rely on big concerts and events like this.

“These events just are incredibly lifesaving, they really are. transformative. We couldn’t survive without them to be quite honest,” said James Anioawski, the restaurant’s co-owner.

He said he wants people to know downtown restaurants are there for them to enjoy anytime, not just before a concert.
