The Albany County Legislature this week unanimously approved a plan that will make it easier for citizens and media to follow meetings more easily.
Republican Legislator Mark Grimm said they really want people to either attend or watch the meetings from home, but the poor quality and audio of the meetings is a turn-off to some people.
The legislature will invest $150,000 in technical audio and visual upgrades, including improving digital distribution, as part of ongoing efforts to modernize legislative operations. That includes $79,000 in American Rescue Plan funds.
