Albany’s first festival to celebrate Caribbean heritage and culture was held Saturday.
The Columbia County Sanctuary Movement hosted its inaugural Caribbean Festival at Jennings Landing.
This cultural celebration was organized by community leaders, artists, and business owners.
CCSM helps out immigrants in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley.
This festival also helps small businesses run by immigrants and brings exposure to up-and-coming artists.
It was set to go until 6 p.m., with an after party at 9 p.m. at Albany Stadium Restaurant and Bar.
