You can enjoy food from around the world, along with some free entertainment.

New York state’s annual Food Festival is taking place on Wednesday, Aug. 15.

It’s a daylong event that pairs delicious food and beverages with an exciting set of activities. A variety of cuisines will be represented including West African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, American and Asian.

It’s happening at the Empire State Plaza in Albany from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Southern and arena rock band .38 Special will headline this year’s event.

It’s all part of the annual “Summer at the Plaza” series.
