Albany hopes Citizen Police Academy will help connect community

Albany Police want to teach the community more about the work they do every day. Those seeking to join the Albany Citizen Police Academy are welcome to apply.

Classes are scheduled to start Wednesday, June 26 and end on Sept. 18.

Classes will meet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Albany Police Academy on Washington Avenue Extension in Albany.

Those who live and work in the city of Albany are welcome to complete the application online.
