Albany man accused of having cocaine, fentanyl
An Albany man is accused of possessing cocaine and fentanyl.
Deputies conducted a narcotics investigation in the area of Broad Street and Schuyler Street in the city of Albany on Monday. Charles B. McCormick III, 31, had 5 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of fentanyl and 1.7 grams of fake Oxycodone pills pressed with fentanyl, according to the Albany County Sheriff's Office.

McCormick III, 31, had 5 grams of cocaine, 3 grams of fentanyl and 1.7 grams of fake Oxycodone pills pressed with fentanyl, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.
He also allegedly had glassine envelopes used for individual packaging and sale of narcotics.
McCormick was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, criminally using drug paraphernalia and obstructing governmental administration.
He was taken to Albany County Jail for arraignment.
