Albany man pleads not guilty in man’s murder
Albany man charged with murder, manslaughter in death of Jieshi Williams.
An Albany man pleaded not guilty on Monday to murder and manslaughter charges for allegedly causing the death of a man last month.
Keron Payne, 34, is accused of killing Jieshi Williams on Feb. 23.
Investigators told NewsChannel 13 that Payne and his girlfriend were arguing with another couple. The fight became physical.
Payne is due back in court next month.
