Albany Med nurses continue negotiation on Monday for fair union contract

Albany Medical nurses are scheduled to return to the negotiating table.
Nurses have been working without a contract after it expired on July 31, 2024.
On Monday, Albany Med nurses will be negotiating for the second time this year.
Their first negotiation session with the Albany Medical administration was on January 24.
Nurses have been fighting for a fair union contract with a comprehensive plan to recruit and retain nurses, and ensure quality care for the community by including nurses in solving the staffing crisis at the hospital.
Following Monday’s meeting, nurses are expected to hold a press conference on Tuesday.
