The Madison Theatre held its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Thursday, marking the latest chapter in the historic theater’s nearly 100-year life.

It is currently showing “Moana 2” and “Wicked.”

The theater, now under the new ownership Owusu Anane and Plall Kassam, will have feature films, and performances and musicians.

It closed back in February, when it was put up for sale.
