Brand new corgi races debut at this year’s Altamont Fair.

Four dozen corgis will race to the finish line.

Each heat will feature 10 to 12 corgis. One owner will release them at the start line, and another owner will be waiting for their pup at the finish line.

After each heat, every one of those hardworking pups will be treated to a refreshing “puppuccino.”

The corgi race is happening on Thursday night, Aug. 15, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the grandstand.
