Talented high school musicians recently put their cooking skills to the test.

The Amsterdam High School Marching Rams swapped their instruments for ladles at their chili cook-off last weekend.

The Greater Amsterdam School District said despite the cold weather outside, the competition was spicy.

They thank everyone who joined in on the fun and came out to support their marching band.
