Amsterdam closing roads due to Lyon Street work

The city of Amsterdam is closing some streets beginning next week due to road work on Lyon Street.

The following street closures will take place beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday.

  • Lyon Street from Locust Avenue to Forest Avenue, 
  • Smyrna Street;
  • Wilbur Street from Finlay Street to Lyon Street

Divers are asked to take alternate routes during this time as no traffic will be allowed through. Detour signs will be posted.

The closure will continue through 5 p.m. on June 14 or until the work is complete.
