Volunteers will be out this Saturday seeking to make Amsterdam more beautiful.

The annual Earth Day cleanup is taking place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

People can grab gloves and garbage bags at Veterans Park in Amsterdam and then head out to spruce up a number of spots that need cleaning.

The city is offering free breakfast, lunch and drinks for all the volunteers.
