Amsterdam man accused of stealing from concession stand

An Amsterdam man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a Shuttleworth Park last month.

Daniel Miranda, 42, and a female accomplice are accused of entering the concession stand at the Mohawk’s baseball field and taking property, Amsterdam Police said.

Miranda was identified as one of the suspects with the use of video surveillance at the park on Crescent Avenue and other evidence.

Miranda is on probation and was out on bail for a separate unrelated felony arrest, police said.

Miranda was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny.

Police said the female accomplice has not been identified.
