Anyone who’s a fan of the TV show “The Bear” would recognize the character Tina Marrero, but did you know the actress who plays her is a UAlbany grad?
Liza Colón-Zayas graduated as part of the Class of 1989, with a bachelor of arts in theater.
She’s now the first Latina actress to win an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Congratulations to her.
