Bennington man arrested for second time in stalking incident

A Bennington man has been arrested for the second time this month.

The incident happened around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug.19. Tyler Toromino, 25, allegedly waited near a residence on Route 7A in the town of Shaftsbury for the victim to come home. He then let himself inside, Vermont State Police said.  

Troopers arrived on scene a short time later and arrested him. He was charged with unlawful trespass and stalking. He was taken to Marble Valley Correctional Facility for violating his probation.

Toromino was arrested on Aug. 7 for allegedly going to a Shaftsbury home he was banned from and assaulting a person. Toromino once lived with the victim.
