Berkshire Bank announced Heather Hans from Latham is their 2025 Volunteer of the Year.

Hans has done more than 400 hours of volunteer service in the Capital Region.
She works with Berkshire Bank as the Vice President and Consumer Lending Compliance Officer.

Hans has an extraordinary dedication to local communities, the bank said.
She volunteers with several organizations, and she actively takes part in both company-sponsored events as well as personal activities, according to the bank.

Another 19 employees were also honored for having volunteered more than 150 hours in 2024.
