Berkshire Bank selling nine Capital Region branches
Berkshire Bank is selling nine of its branches across the Capital Region. Hudson Valley Credit Union is set to buy eight of the branches, while Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company is set to buy the ninth one.

Hudson Valley Credit Union is set to buy eight of the branches, while Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company is set to buy the ninth one.
The sale is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of this year, according to Hudson Valley Credit Union.
Those branches are located in Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady and Columbia counties.
After the sale, the former Berkshire Bank branches will change name and branding to Hudson Valley Credit Union.
