The Berkshire Humane Society is trying to do what it can to make room for animals displaced by the recent hurricanes.

The humane society is cutting adoption fees in half through next week, the Berkshire Eagle reported.

The shelter wants to make it easier for people to adopt animals, so they can make space for the pets displaced by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The discounted adoption fees run through Sunday, Oct. 20.
