BKW school employee resigns after being placed on leave

A member of the staff at the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School District is off the job.

NewsChannel 13 received a tip from a member of the school district, saying the superintendent had sent a letter to parents about a staff member.

NewsChannel 13 asked the school about that letter to parents. They wrote back: “The Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School District was notified of an allegation involving a district staff member. This employee was immediately placed on administrative leave and has subsequently resigned. The district is unable to comment any further on this personnel matter.”
