Bolton Landing man faces drug, DWI charge after crash
A Bolton Landing man is facing drug and DWI charges after a crash.
New York State Police said Gabriel M. Houghton, 25, struck a guide rail on Lake Shore Drive in Hague on Monday, Sept. 29 just before 3 a.m. Houghton then left the scene.
A caller reported the crash to police. Troopers found a vehicle matching that description a short distance away disabled in the road.
There was felony-weight narcotics and cannabis in the vehicle, police said.
Houghton recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.14%. The legal blood alcohol content limit in New York state is 0.08%.
Houghton was charged two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, DWI and traffic violations.
He was taken to Warren County Jail to await arraignment.
