Brooklyn man heading to prison on gun, drug charges

A Brooklyn man was sentenced on Thursday to 7 years in prison on gun and drug charges.
State Police began an investigation into Justin Dugger, 26, in March 2024 after receiving a tip. Dugger sold large quantities of crack-cocaine and three guns, including two semiautomatics and one .32-caliber revolver, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
Police arrested Dugger in a Cohoes parking lot last May, and he had around 26 grams of cocaine.
He pleaded guilty in Albany County Court on Thursday to a 10-count indictment, including six counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal sale of a firearm and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
