Brunswick man accused of possessing child pornography

State Police have arrested a Brunswick man for allegedly possessing child pornography.
Dustin E. Maxon, 33, had images consistent with child sexual exploitation at his home, police said. The investigation stemmed from a tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Maxon was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child. He was arraigned in Brunswick Town Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of bail set at $50,000 cash, $50,000 bond or $500,000 partially secured bond.
