Cambridge adopts ‘Tigers’ as new school mascot
The Cambridge Board of Education on Thursday unanimously voted to adopt Tigers as the district’s new mascot.
Tigers was the top choice from students and residents in a recent survey.
The Cambridge Board of Education on Thursday unanimously voted to adopt Tigers as the district’s new mascot.
Tigers was the top choice from students and residents in a recent survey.
This comes as all districts across New York state are being required to phase out any native mascots and imagery.
The district will develop a plan to establish a new logo to coincide with the nickname. The goal is to unveil the new logo by the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
