Capital Region BOCES students are getting professional experience working for the New York State Senate.
Capital Region BOCES students are getting professional experience working for the New York State Senate.
The Digital Media Design students are taking part in work-based learning at the Senate Production Shop.
The shop is the graphics and printing department for the Senate.
“It’s a great opportunity to learn a variety of operations related to the industry,” said William Teal, a senior from Shenendehowa.
“The experience is giving me an inside look at several different professional areas of graphic design and printing,” said Rachel Squadere, a senior from Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.
More than 300 businesses team up with Capital Region BOCES, placing students in 80 worksites across the area.
