Catskill woman convicted of killing man in 2021
A Catskill woman was found guilty Thursday of killing a man in 2021.
Carrie Weiser stabbed Scott Myers in the neck in his apartment in Catskill. She called 911 and initially said Myers had slit his wrists, according to the Times Union.
The defense argued Weiser was acting in self-defense. Her lawyers aid Myers was trying to rape Weiser.
She is facing life in prison when sentenced in August.
