Colonie man admits to trafficking fentanyl, cocaine
A Colonie man has pleaded guilty to trafficking fentanyl and cocaine.
Benz Coleman, 33, admitted in U.S. District Court that on Jan. 31, he had more than 3,000 fentanyl pills and more than 13 grams of cocaine. He also told the court that between Nov. 1, 2023 and Jan. 31, 2024, he sold more than 2,400 fentanyl pills to another person, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
Coleman is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 12. He faces up to 40 years in prison.
