People in the Kinderhook community and beyond came out to help a food pantry that had run out of some supplies.

We told you earlier this week that the Valatie food pantry was running low on essential goods and had to turn some people away.

To help them out, a food donation drive was held to collect more non-perishable goods for the food pantry.

Organizers say they got donations from people who are not even from the community.
