Connecticut man admits to burglary

A Connecticut man has admitted to entering a Wilton home and assaulting a person in February.

Thomas A. Rivera, 50, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Friday to charges of burglary and criminal contempt.

Rivera was arrested on Feb. 8 after police said he assaulted the victim with a knife, causing serious injuries.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 25.
