Coxsackie man gets eight years in prison for child sexual assault

A Coxsackie man was recently sentenced to 8 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child under 11.

David Rollins, 59, had assaulted the child for several years, police said. It was reported on Dec. 22, 2022, and Rollins was arrested three days later.

Rollins pleaded guilty in Greene County Court in April to course of sexual conduct against a child. He was sentenced on May 28.

He also received 20 years of post-release supervision.
