Deputies: Washington County woman filed false affidavit

A Washington County woman is accused of filing a false affidavit.

Kim M. Belden, 49, of Hampton, filed the false document in Washington County Supreme Court and later testified that the affidavit was false, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police did not provide any information about the document.

Belden was charged with perjury and offering a false instrument for filing. She was released on an appearance ticket and due in Fort Edward Town Court at a later date.
