Donations being accepted this week for police sergeant’s family impacted by Selkirk fire
The Selkirk Fire Department is calling on the community to help one of their own.
Coeymans Police Sergeant Kelly Arnold, her husband, and her three young children lost everything in a house fire on River Road.
This Monday and Tuesday, Selkirk Station #1 will set up a collection site. They are asking for clothing, hygiene products, gift cards, toys, and anything else that could help the family out.
You can drop off donations for the family from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at 126 Maple Avenue in Selkirk.
A GoFundMe page has raised more than $27,000 already.
