The East Greenbush Police Department was making a limited time offer of “Get Out of Jail Free” cards.

The department said in a Facebook post that: “If you’ve committed a crime, have outstanding warrants, or just feel like rolling the dice, we invite you to swing by the station and collect your official ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card.

“No need to call ahead—just show up! Our friendly officers will be waiting with handcuffs… we mean, cards.”

The offer is valid on April 1, and police said it is void where prohibited (which is everywhere).
