The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce held the Big E Consumer Showcase at the Saratoga Springs City Center on Thursday.

Consumers were able to check out all models of electric vehicles that are sold by local dealers—-twenty of them—from Cadillacs, Jeeps, Fords and even a VW Buzz.

“A lot of people are buying EV cars, all sorts of makes and models. If you want to compare them you have to go from dealership to dealership, we thought we would make it super convenient for people to see what all our local dealers have for cars that are EVs, hybrids or plug-ins,” said Todd Shimkus, president of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce.

The showcase  also included vendors who install car chargers, solar power, and heat pumps.
