Ellsworth Commons in Malta sent a “thank you” gift to the law enforcement agencies that responded to two violent incidents on back-to-back days.
Residents at the apartment complex sent Easter baskets to the State Police Barracks and the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Ellsworth is where authorities shot and killed a 37-year-old man after he pointed what appeared to be a gun at officers.
The day before, a 69-year-old was killed by State Police after he fired shots at the barracks.
The thank-you gifts were part of an Easter basket giveaway for children that Ellsworth Commons held on Saturday.
