General Electric is responding to a new project detailing the five-year progress of the Hudson River dredging project.

The Environmental Protection Agency released a review Wednesday of the cleanup of PCBs from the river.     

The agency says it needs to collect more data from the Hudson before they determine how well six years of dredging completed in 2015 is working.

GE responded Wednesday, saying the company met or exceeded all of its obligations on the project, removing the vast majority of PCBs in the water.
