Now that Halloween is over, something needs to be done with all the leftover pumpkins.

Adirondack Pub & Brewery is holding its annual Pumpkin Chunkin’ Festival.

This event takes you back to the Middle Ages, with a medieval village, battle demonstrations, dancing witches and a catapult hurling pumpkins as far as they can go.

You can also bring your jack-o-lanterns for the great pumpkin drop which will wrap up this event.

Pumpkin Chunkin’ is happening next Saturday, Nov. 9, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

It will be behind the parking lot of High Peaks Distilling on Canada Street.
