Former ShopRite stores to reopen June 14 as Market 32

Four new Market 32 stores will open in the Capital Region on June 14, the company said Wednesday.

The stores are all former ShopRite stores. They are located in Albany, Colonie, Niskayuna and North Greenbush.

Customers at all four stores will get 5% off on June 14 and June 15. The company will also donate 5% of sales to the Regional Food Bank.

As NewsChannel 13 previously reported, Price Chopper-Market 32 acquired ShopRite leases and fixtures in a real estate deal last fall, with the stores closing in November.

Plans have not yet been announced former the former ShopRite in Slingerlands.
