Albany County has announced the names being added to county snowplows this winter. There were 280 submissions and seven winners.

They include:

• Empire Plowza
• Frost Berne
• Plowasaurus
• Snowsquatch
• Sno Way Jose
• Exsaltsior
• Sleet and salty

These winners will be in the 74th annual Albany St. Patrick Day’s Parade in March. The contest was about reminding people to stay safe on the roads and watch out for plows.
