The Port of Coeymans is moving the final section of a massive commuter rail bridge.

The Portal North Bridge is part of the Gateway Program, which is a multi-billion dollar infrastructure project in the New York City metro area.

It replaces the century-old Portal Bridge, which is used by nearly 200,000 Amtrak and New Jersey transit passengers each day.

The new bridge was built in three sections at the Port of Coeymans.

The first two parts were already transported to the Hackensack River in November and January.

The section is 400 feet long, 78 feet wide, and 86 feet high.

The total cost of the new bridge is around $1.7 billion.
