Glens Falls man had child pornography

A Glens Falls man is accused of possessing child pornography.

Jason S. Barnes, 32, allegedly possessed images consistent with child exploitation, State Police said.

His arrest followed a search of his home. The investigation stemmed from a cyber tip received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Barnes was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

He was arraigned in Glens Falls City Court and released on his own recognizance.
