Glens Falls woman prospered after taking over husband’s business after he died

Elizabeth Miller never expected to be running a business.
She was a speech pathologist for Saratoga Springs schools for 30 years. Her husband Miles owned a company that services paper mill equipment. He died suddenly in 2007.
Miller said that her husband had some heart issues, and he told her that if he died, put a lock on the gate and put the business up for sale.
However, she saw the number of people that depended on the business to support themselves and their families. So she decided to run the company, which she admittedly knew nothing about.
The business has flourished, and she has bought a farm in Queensbury and has a restaurant called Park and Elm in Glens Falls. She has also revitalized the long-vacant Park Theater.
