A defense attorney from Great Barrington has been suspended for two years after misusing client funds. Now she’s appealing that decision.

Judith Knight was suspended for neglecting clients’ cases and refusing to refund unearned fees, according to NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Berkshire Eagle.

Now Knight, 63, has less than a week to take down her website and file a notice of suspension with all courts where she has active cases.

She was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in 1988 and has practiced in Great Barrington since 2003.

Knight also lost a bid for Berkshire District attorney in 2018. Knight claims this is what caused her to commit what she calls missteps with clients, said the Eagle, citing court documents.
