Repairs are underway on St. Joseph’s Church in Albany.

The historic church’s steeple was damaged last month during a storm.

Crews will stabilize the steeple, remove any loose elements, and then install a new rain and ice shield to protect it from any possible weather damage, according to the city.

The historic landmark is on Ten Broeck Street between First Street and Second Street.
